Once again DSTC 6th form have performed above expectations. Following on from a Good Ofsted in March 2017 the Post 16 students have done superbly well. 72 % of all grades awarded were A* to C or equivalent with 42% of these at A* to B (or equivalent). These are excellent results for all concerned.
Notable successes include 100% A* to B in Art and the same in textiles, 89% A* to C in Media, 81% A* to C in Applied Science, 82% in Applied Business, 77% A* to C in English Literature, 100% D* grades in Btec ICT, 100% D*D in Btec Sport and 100% grade C and above in Health and Social Care Double award.
Of the 30 students who wanted a university place, 27 have been immediately accepted with 3 going through clearing this morning.

Lucy Hollis with 1 A*, 1 A, 1B & 1C – going to study English and Media at Sussex
Moonisha Verma – 1A* and 2 Distinction* – going to study Architecture at Greenwich University
Marina Christophi with Distinction*, 1B & 1C
Eunice Yumba 1 Distinction *, 1 Distinction, 1 B & 1C
Louise Norman (Year 12) – 1 A and 1 B at AS level
