Courses and Subjects

Choosing the correct courses to study at A Level is very important. You have to choose courses or subjects which engage and motivate you, as well as allowing you to progress to the next stage of your education, employment or training at the end of Year 13.

There are two main types of courses offered at Post 16; A Level Courses and Applied Courses (previously known as BTEC courses).

Art & Design – Photography
English Literature
Media Studies

Applied Courses
Applied Business – National Extended Certificate/National Diploma
Applied Science – National Extended Certificate
Health & Social Care – National Extended Certificate/National Diploma
Information Technology – Cambridge Technical Introductory Diploma
Sport & Exercise Science – National Extended Certificate
