DSTC 2016 GCSE results

In 2015 DSTC were celebrating their best ever results however they have again reached new heights with even better results this year. 70% of students have achieved 5 GCSEs grade A* – C with 60% of students achieving 5 A* – C with English and Maths, an increase on last year. There were significant improvements in the English results where 83% achieved grade A*- C. Science were again strong with 73% achieving A* – C.

There are many students celebrating outstanding results. Joanna Bailey has achieved 3A*, 6As and 2 B. Louise Norman achieved 3A*, 3A and 4Bs. Special congratulations to Tabitha Surry who has made the most progress during her time at DSTC. Her results included 2A* and 4As.

Miss Alison Chapman, current acting Principal was delighted with the improvements seen and would like to thank all the staff and students for their hard work this year. She stated “DSTC has gone from strength to strength over the last 5 years and is now entering a new chapter with a new Principal , Mrs Anne Davis. I am confident the school with continue to thrive and I wish them every success for the future”.
